We are Josiah and Hannah Jorich, the heart and soul of Blue Mountain Provisions, a small-batch winery nestled in the heart of Perry County, PA. Our journey to becoming winemakers is as unique as our handcrafted products.
As a homeschooling family on a homestead, we’ve always embraced the opportunity to learn and grow. Our land, rich with native grapes, inspired us to transform our passion into a reality. What started as a hobby in 2016 blossomed into a full-fledged winery in 2023.
Navigating the complex world of winemaking regulations was no easy feat, but our determination prevailed. Today, we balance the joys of homeschooling our three children with the excitement of running our winery.
We strive to create small batch wines and ciders with locally sourced ingredients that you can be confident in enjoying.
We often get asked if we offer tastings at our winery. While we dream of opening our doors for in-person experiences, our current home-based winery setup and local regulations prevent this. However, we’re committed to making it a reality in the future.
